BUSY WEDDING SEASON
We are excited to be a part of over 30 ceremonies and reception in the spring and summer of 2010. Proud of the many traditional ensembles booked and also very impressed and happy to serve our music loving brides and grooms with some more contemporary options. Guitarist Mike will be playing a variety including, Rod Stewart, U2, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, The Beatles, Edwin McCain, Def Leopard all by request. VMC has just recruited 2 new party bands!! These bands are perfect for a wedding reception that really wants to rock, 70′s, 80′s 90′s and funk/disco style. So exciting to have added a very high caliber of talent to the roster. If you want your guests to get down on the dance floor, you’ll need to check out one of these bands!

My Country Wedding
Saturday, August 22, 2009 – My Country Wedding, Kendal
VMC had the pleasure of providing music to the open house hosted by Wendy Boothman of www.mycountrywedding.ca. The David Statham Trio played the hypnotic sounds of jazz and blues up on the ol’ front porch. Guests were mingling while enjoying Pilar’s Catering- oh and I must not forget the wild hibiscus with Prosecco- unbelievable. Just when I thought the day couldn’t be finer, Harpist Sharon Avis began to play her enchanting melodies, with the rolling hills and meadows as a backdrop we settled alongside the pool nibbling the most amazing carrot cake courtesy of The Final Course- I was simply mesmerized!! As were the horses who promptly made their way from the barn to the front row!
Thank you Sharon, Dave, Doug, Rob and Wendy! It was an Inspirational Day!
